Medicare
Medicare
Health Insurance for Adults Over 65 and Those On Disability for 24+ Months
Original Medicare includes Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance) covers about 80% of costs.
You MUST join a separate Medicare drug plan to get Medicare drug coverage (Part D).
Add a Medigap Plan or an Advantage Plan to help cover the other 20% that Original Medicare does not cover.
Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage is another way to get Medicare Part A and Part B coverage. Medicare Advantage Plans, sometimes called "Part C" or "MA Plans," are offered by Medicare-approved private companies that must follow rules set by Medicare. If you join a Medicare Advantage Plan, you'll still have Medicare but you'll get all of your Part A and Part B coverage from your Medicare Advantage Plan, not Original Medicare.
Medigap Plans
Be able to see any doctor that accepts Medicare anywhere in the US and you will need a separate drug plan as well
Defined Benefit Plans
Another option for healthcare under the age of 65 is a Defined Benefit Plan, where your costs are lower, and you have First Dollar Outpatient Benefits, set Inpatient Benefits, Virtual care, healthcare saving tools at your disposal, and freedom of choice in providers. Also add the options of Accident coverage, Critical Illness benefit, etc.
